How does it work?
The Primary audience of this program will be women- both community caregivers and family caregivers who will get training and practical tips on how to look after medical needs of their returning patients from hospitals. These caregivers will have access to WhatsApp groups for peer-to-peer support as well as access to specialized coaches & trainers in industry partner orgs on specific questions, as and when required. This is in addition to the byte-sized learning modules in local language on caregiving encompassing both clinical and non-clinical aspects of care. For emergency concierge and specialized medical consultation, Silver Genie will make its network of doctors and expert counsellors available to the community.
The foundation will use its base in Northeast states to streamline the process of medical migration and also setting up employment linked skilling centres to bridge the large gap in availability of qualified caregivers resulting in:
- Better health outcomes (faster recovery)
- Skilled workforce availability
- Lower out-of-pocket expense by streamlined professional medical migration
